LEGO Student Robotics Olympics - Building Challenge

Student Activity/Inquiry Focus Recommendation:
LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Olympics Building Challenge

From 2016 but STILL a wonderful challenge!
"This August, the world is celebrating a festival of sports with the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This June 2nd, the LEGO MINDSTORMS team and robot experts world over are celebrating the efforts of Robot Makers at the International ROBOT MAK3R day in Athens, Greece, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

We’re challenging the LEGO MINDSTORMS Community to celebrate these two events by building your own Robo Olympics. How can LEGO MINDSTORMS be used to represent an Olympic game, an Olympic symbol, custom or cultural connection, or a new Robotic Olympic sport that’s invented by you!
Will you make a robotic Archer, BMX Biker, Synchronized Swimmer or Sumo Wrestler? Will you create a spinning LEGO version of the Olympic Rings, a flickering touch, or a recreation of an artistic opening ceremony act? Will you invent a new game that requires the use of wearable robotics in the sport? Where will your imagination take you and what will you MAK3?"
